These will come in handy when you’re ready to build your team.
MEMBER A person who has signed up on a Young Living team and receives a 24% discount on their purchases. Only members are eligible to build their own teams (aka: organizations).
RETAIL CUSTOMER A person who signs up to buy Young Living products at full retail price. Retail customers are ineligible to build their own teams.
ORGANIZATION Your organization, or team, includes you and everyone under you—a combination of team members you’ve enrolled, and people your team members have enrolled.
ENROLLER The team member responsible for introducing a new team member to Young Living. Enrollers are eligible to qualify for bonuses, including the Fast Start Bonus and the Starter Kit Bonus.
SPONSOR A new team member’s direct upline and primary support. The sponsor may also be the enroller.
PV (PERSONAL VOLUME) The total monthly volume of the orders you personally place (100 PV roughly equals $1 US)
50 PV The minimum amount you spend each month to get the Fast Start Bonus and Starter Kit Bonus only.
100 PV The amount you spend each month to get your full paycheck, including all commissions and Silver Bound Bonuses.
ER (ESSENTIAL REWARDS) This is Young Living’s convenient monthly ordering program. It’s optional, but if you’re spending at least 50 PV each month, Essential Rewards will give you the most perks.
OGV (ORGANIZATION GROUP VOLUME) The monthly volume of your entire organization.
PGV (PERSONAL GROUP VOLUME) Your organization volume, not including the volume in the legs that qualified you for your current rank, and not including any of your team members who are ranked Silver and above.
LEG One of your personally sponsored team members and everyone below him/her. The best strategy is to begin with 2 legs and eventually build 7.
LEVEL 1 All the team members immediately under you. Depending on your rank, you get paid Unilevel commissions on your Levels 1 through 5.
COMPRESSION If a team member doesn’t meet the 100 PV qualification to earn commissions for the month, his/her volume (if any) automatically rolls up to the next qualifying team member who has at least 100 PV.
UNILEVEL The percentage of commission you earn each month on the levels under you. Depending on the rank you’ve achieved that month, if you have 100 PV, you earn 8% of the PV of each team member on your Level 1, 5% of the PV of each team member on your Level 2, and 4% of the PV of each team member on your Levels 3-5,
UNILEVEL COMMISSION PERCENTAGES Unranked team members are paid Unilevel commissions on their Levels 1 and 2. Team members ranked Star are paid Unilevel commissions on their Levels 1 through 3. Team members ranked Senior Star are paid Unilevel commissions on their Levels 1 through 4. Team members ranked Executive and higher are paid Unilevel commissions on their Levels 1 through 5.
GENERATION A team member who is ranked Silver or above and his/her entire organization.
PERSONAL GENERATION COMMISSIONS Any team member ranked Silver or above is eligible for additional commissions. You are paid a 2.5% commission on each of your legs that have not yet ranked up to Silver or above.
GENERATION COMMISSIONS If you can achieve the rank of Silver or above, you’ll be paid an additional 3% on the OGV of any of your other team members who are also ranked Silver or above. Each of these Generation Commissions includes the volume all the way down to the next team member who is ranked Silver or above. You are paid 8 generations of commissions in each of your legs, depending on your rank.
GENERATION COMMISSION PERCENTAGES If you can reach the rank of Silver, you’ll be paid 2.5% commission on your Personal Generation and 3% commission on Generations 2 and 3. If you can reach the rank of Gold, you’ll also be paid 3% commission on Generation 4. If you can reach the rank of Platinum, you’ll also be paid 3% commission on Generation 5. If you can reach the rank of Diamond, you’ll also be paid 3% commission on Generation 6. If you can reach the rank of Crown Diamond, you’ll also be paid 3% commission on Generation 7. Finally, if you can reach the rank of Royal Crown Diamond, you’ll also be paid 1% commission on Generation 8.
GENERATION LEADERSHIP BONUS In addition to all the other ways you can get paid, 6.25% of all Young Living’s monthly commissionable sales is paid out in shares according to the rank you achieved for the month and on the leaders in your organization on whom you earn Generation Commissions.
DIAMOND LEADERSHIP BONUS If you can achieve the epic ranks of Diamond, Crown Diamond, or Royal Crown Diamond, you’ll receive the Diamond Leadership Bonus. Young Living pays 0.5% of the monthly commissionable sales in shares to Diamond leaders as a reward for helping to expand the business worldwide.
